NORTH SHORE TITLE is open for business

We are continuing to accept new files. Our closing, production and support teams are safely working to insure and close your transactions.

As this emergency evolves, we are continuing to prepare for inevitable changes in the market. In an effort to stay ahead of the crisis and be your go-to resource for Real Estate transactions, we are actively developing strategies to get your deals done.

Our current focus is as follows:

Remote Online Notarization (RON)

Remote Online Notarization (RON) allows notarized documents to be executed remotely, but in the presence of a notary public via technology.

North Shore Title is prepared to execute transactions in this manner as long as the client has access to an audio/visual device with an internet connection (example: PC, Laptop, Smart Phone).

Clean & Safe Office Environment

As our offices stay open to the publicwe are exercising a strict pre and post-closing sanitation protocol. We respectfully ask that closing appointments be limited to signers only.

Monitoring of Recording Office Closures & Gap Coverage

Government recording offices aren’t immune to this crisis. Many have closed, and we expect more to do the same. Should recording capability become unavailable, gap coverage is required.

We are currently authorized to provide gap coverage in the event of a recording office closing. We are monitoring the counties as they make their announcements.

We will continue to communicate any changes to the protocol and as always, stick to our principles to live in the solution and keep the wheels of the real estate market moving in the right direction.
